Base Formula products use natural ingredients and many contain blends of essential oils. Essential oils are 100% natural products and therefore can vary in colour and to a lesser extent smell depending on the season of growth; variations in growing conditions and plant varieties.

In December 2012 we produced a batch code number COS 20/20121204 of Rose and Aloe Vera Hydrating Gel with a slight variation in colour.

The sample on the right shows a clear version of the product from a previous batch and the sample on the left shows the December batch.

We had this batch tested and approved for sale. It is now in circulation and provided your product has the batch code COS 20/20121204 and our new product verifcation label on it then this is Base Formula approved.
